DPA 402(x) question
« on: September 08, 2005, 11:34:06 AM »
Okay I have a pair of DPA 4023's and I am wondering if there is something special in XLR end of the cables.

I'd like to run 4023 > Micro Track for stealthing, without having to use some sort of XLR > 1/4 dongle.

Can I just get a new mic cable that goes 4023 > LEMO-connector > 1/4 TRS > Micro Track?

Anyone know?

Thanks

there is a small capsule of non-active circuitry in the xlr end.

Meaning no?  I assume.  What the hell is in there?  What purpose does it serve?
