my stepo by step is
1. track in cdwave
2. open first track in wavelab
3. once first track is open, go to master plugin and fix the sample/bit rates and hit render
4. batch process the files in place

bean, be careful in batch processing individual 24/96 tracks down to 16/44, you're gonna get errors at the track breaks (and not just SBE's)...see this thread for the tests i did:

so resample the 2GB file, then dither it, then track it
yeah, and the beauty of this method is that as long as you have your temp file set to something less than 32 bit float, you can put a 2 gig file and then another file next to it in the active window (using the insert audio file > at end command) and work on them together to resample, then dither, then track. i haven't had wavelab choke on the file when working with it that way.
