AKG 391 Question
« on: May 21, 2006, 08:28:43 PM »
So I'm trying to piece together a second rig for Bonnaroo.  I have my rig, plus I have a V2 and a 722 on loan.

I have been offered some 391's, but wasn't sure if I could run the 391 > V2 or V3.  Will the +48 phantom on the V2 or V3 run the 391s?

48v phantom will be fine for 391's... I'm gettin' excited for the 'roo myself... just reading up on it.

Sweet.  I'm going to snag them.  I'll have two full rigs then.  I need some ideas for configs/experiments.

I'll be taking:

Mics:
2 ak40s
1 ak40
2 KM100s
2 AKG 391s
1 96 (shotgun cap)

Pres:
V2
V3

Recorders:
722
Microtrack
