Title: shortening an RC battery cable?

anyone know if you can shorten an RC battery cable? I just got some that are way to long.

Don't know why you wouldn't be able to. Radio Shack sells a repair kit  with both connectors that are already wired.  Actually they sell two kits, one for 7.2v and another for 9.6v with the only difference being the wire guage. They probably sell the connectors seperately so  you could make the battery leads any length you want.

7.2v part # 23-444 so  9.6v is either 23-443 or 23-445
