Topic: Which UA-5 to get? Oade Digi, Warm, Presence?

Hi All,

I'm in the market for a UA-5, but don't know which one to get. I'll be running it into a JB3 with (soon) C-4 mics in smaller venues, a lot of bluegrass, as well as jambands of the like. I have been interested in the Oade W arm UA-5 mod. Can anyone explain to me the difference, sound-wise, between the Warm mod and just the regular Digi-Mod they offer? If it is a hands down improvement I don't mid ponying up the extra cash, but I just want to be sure. Anyone have any info to offer about the Presence mod? I downloaded some samples, but I wanted to hear some personal opinions as well. Thanks for your help.

you forgot about the Transparent Mod, there is a description of the purpose of each of the modifications on their site
