The ADI-2 is expected to ship in February 2004. The retail price has not been annonced yet.

how long has the sbm-1 been around?  and it's still the best options for a LOT of tapers...

I really like the idea of this box at up to 24/192.  One problem I see (for my application) is that the channels are not independently adjustable, or do not appear to be.  If I could adjust L/R separately, I would definitely give this box a try.

looked it up, bayview pro audio has it for 599 and it says shipping in may or june of 2004, so it will
probably be out soon.  the multiface and digiface computer interfaces are really nice, i wonder how
well they do in the a/d department

But since this is strictly an A/D, couldn't you just adjust the levels on your preamp?

But since this is strictly an A/D, couldn't you just adjust the levels on your preamp? 

You are correct, but as others (!) have pointed out, the preamp that I run is not adjustable.  I may be willing to pick up a v2 to run with it though!

isnt this the box that had cal-pots similar to a mme to adjust each channel individually, and then once you get them even, you adjust both at the same time?
