Urgent pad construction help needed..
« on: September 22, 2005, 11:35:14 AM »
Okay.. I think my Micro Tracker is defective and I'm hoping to get it exchanged. But in the meantime, II want to record some shows and we all want to hear this thing.

So I need to put together a pad to reduce the signal from my DPA 4061's for a big show tonight.

I'm scanning threads and schematics.  I know I need an L type pad.  What I don't know is the characteristic impedance of my Micro Tracker inputs.  I'm leaning towards using the Mic input and I will be using a sound Pros battery box (or I might drop the bbox and use the internal 5v, not sure yet).

Since I probably won't have time to take proper measurements, I need to estimate and then test some circuits.

Any suggetsions would be appreciated!

Tickets are dead to me.  Except the ones I have, don't have, and lost.  Not to mention the ones you have, don't have, and lost.   And the ones that other dude has, doesn't have, and lost.  Let me know if you need some tickets, I'm happy to oblige.
