Which jack/plug type to patch into soundboard?
« on: January 05, 2008, 11:32:14 PM »
What type of jacks/plugs are used to patch into the typical soundboard?  RCA?  Others?

Thanks very much.

I have mainly used XLR's, but RCA's and 1/4" cables couldnt hurt. That way youd be covered at every angle.
Schoeps MK 4V & MK 41V ->
Schoeps 250|0 KCY's (x2) ->
Naiant +60v|Low Noise PFA's (x2) ->
DarkTrain Right Angle Stubby XLR's (x3) ->
Sound Devices MixPre-6 & MixPre-3

don't forget to carry an AES and a SPDIF digi cable as well, as many "modern day" mixers are digital.
