Hey, so all this talk in the dmic thread about moding preamps got me thinking. Could anyone recomend a site with some info about opamps and stuff that would relate to pres? Id love to learn some more about this stuff! thanks. Alex

The Howard W. Sams "Op-amp Cookbook" is a good reference source. There are several Sams books on operational amplifiers and circuits.

Check the Oade board too. I think that Doug has mentioned in several posts how some specific devices affect the sound.
