Microtrack 24/96 SPDIF OUT
« on: March 22, 2007, 06:09:32 PM »
I would like to listen my recordings from the Microtrack direct digital out.
Somebody know how to install an SPDIF OUT Option for this device. Maybe tapping  it  before the DA Stage in Coaxial wire mode. Needs then a little transformer.
Any Ideas around?

A DAC will take parallel LPCM or have a serial bus like SPI or I2C.  Unless the MT already has a wire that exposes spdif or aes/ebu formatted stream, you would need to generate the spdif serial protocol someway.  So unless it's already in there and just not exposed, you'll not likely be able to just tap a trace.
