Possible Countryman B3 problem (thoughts appreciated)
« on: March 11, 2012, 11:41:38 PM »
I came home from a show tonight, Paula Cole at City Winery and two things I noticed upon listening to the recording:

1.  It sounds slightly anemic.
2.  There's an extended drop out...something like a minute.   You can faintly hear the music (check out sample)

The mikes were clipped to my glasses and I ran the tinybox, low setting, to line in on my M10 (24/44.1).  The IC was inserted properly and the recorder sat on my lap with no hassle, pulls or tugs.

I had a prime seat, VIP...staring straight at the left stack (stage right).   This venue has dynamite sound and well, this recording sounds kinda average.

I can upload a sample....

Any thoughts or ideas are appreciated!

"Every time I see a group of teenagers gathered around an iphone laughing at some youtube video, I walk up to them, slap the iphone out of their hand, get right up to them nose to nose, and scream at the top of my lungs:

TAKE A LOOK

IT'S IN A BOOK

READING FUCKING RAINBOW."
