Topic: schoeps MK40 caps

Does anybody have any comments on these caps?  on the schoeps website it specifically says that these are for close pickup 50cm or less and that they are not intended for music.  Has anybody ever heard a recording with these caps?  If i have a chance to buy a set of mics for cheap with these caps will i have trouble selling/trading them for some MK4s?  I am such a slut!!!

cardioid pattern
considerable attenuation of low frequencies
emphasis of high frequencies
for severe acoustic conditions
This microphone type has the same features as the MK 4 S, but in addition emphasizes the frequency response in the 9 kHz region by 4 dB. This effects a further improvement of speech intelligibility, particularly in very reverberant venues such as churches.

The MK 40 or CCM 40 is used primarily for sound reinforcement of speech.
It is not particularly recommended for music recording.
