24/96 issue in Wavelab 4.0
« on: March 06, 2007, 10:40:13 AM »
I recently made a recording on a SD722 in 24b/96k.  The recording came out very nice.  When I transferred the WAV's into my PC via firewire everything went smooth.  Upon opening those files in Wavelab 4.0 my 3 hour recording was all of a sudden 5 hours long and during playback the speed is way slow (thus the elongated file from 3-5 hours).  Listening back on HD's from the 722 all is fine - I think this must be a Wavelab issue.

Anyone else run into this?  I did a quick search for other links trying to figure this out - Sorry if this has been discussed.
This is obviously my first venture into 24/96.

Did WL know it was a 24/96 file you were openng? Sounds like it thinks it was less than that. Could be a header issue.
ISO: your recordings of The Slip, Surprise Me Mr. Davis and The Barr Brothers. pm me please.
