sbd-> jb3
« on: March 25, 2005, 06:52:07 PM »
I hate starting new threads concerning the jb3, but I want to be sure.  I'm thinking about running both my mics and doing a sbd patch at an upcoming show.  As a result, I'll probably be running my new jb3 analog in.  A couple questions:

1.  Is there a difference between 3.5mm stereo adapters and 1/8" stereo adapters.  Radio Shack doesn't think so, but...

2.  Should I run attenuators?  The mixer at the show will just be a mackie 808s powered mixer.  RCA tape outs.  I ask, because, with my D7, whenever I ran a sbd->D7, I would end up with brickwalling.  How are the line ins on the JB3.

Thanks in advance!

just run it straight in, if they are gonna let you patch the board then they probably wont mind you adjusting the pot on the board or at least telling them if its too hot or cold and they can adjust it, been my experience anyway......
mk4's / mk41's > nbox > Microtracker / HDP2
