Title: Electronics Question
Post by: fanofjam on August 26, 2022, 10:20:21 AM
Question for electronics guys out there.  I have a schematic with an accompanying parts list that shows some capacitors with units 'uuF' or stated phonetically 'micro-micro Farad'.  Of course, in terms of units, the 'u' is actually the greek mu letter, but the symbol converts in English to a 'u'.

Anyway, is this unit pico-Farads?

In other words, for a capacitor with the spec 470uuF/250V is that a 470 picoFarad capacitor with 250V rating?

Thanks in advance, oh great and knowledgeable Icculus.
