Check at hydrogenaudio.org.  This is covered there by other Mac owners with the same questions.  There are a few rippers whihc might do.

Use the disc extraction function of xACT (freeware) under the Utility tab, which will also conveniently spit out 'all one track' as well if you prefer such an output.

I do too, and it works great.  It does not work with some external disc drives because it uses CD paranoia for (what I'm assuming) a more stable, reliable disc read.

I will check out that Max software, though.  Thanks Clinton!

I've been using EAC while running XP on Parallels.  It works great this way. xACT should do the trick, but I like the secure rips I get with EAC.

I always thought there wasn't a cdwav mac equivalent.  It had to be a 2 step process.  Has that changed?

xact is built with cdparanoia. with xact i've ripped with a variety of cd readers without a glitch. i also installed plain cdparanoia on my mac (with help from my geek pal) and it works very well--- you gotta know a little unix to port it.

For what it is worth Max can use CD Paranoia and rips to various formats including FLAC. It will also write metadata for you. I do use xACT as well sometimes though.
