Id be happy to help out on this one.
You could upload to my FTP and I could host the torrent for ya.
We could even keep it private if ya would like and put it on my tracker and only post the link for folks in here.

These are going up to Nick's server today.

These are the flac files.  The lineage is

KM140 DIN (DFC row T) > SD722 (24/96)

I did not make an information text file and I don't know if the naming convention is correct.  Do what ever you need to with the files to make it "correct".   Just lt me know what you changed so I can do it right next time.

I did not make a 44.1 version, so who ever needs that will have to down sample and probably retrack since these are tracked with no relation to CDDA sector boundaries.

Tim, you must proof-read before you post. :)

Yes, I got the files out.

I seems that the problem occurs when the cover of the unit is secured.  I was pulling the borrowed drive to return it and the unit started working 100% with no cover installed and no media.  I reinstalled media, running with the cover removed, and the machine worked 100% with both drives, including my original 80G.

After we get though with this weeks shows, SD is going to look at it for me.  My unit was ordered last spring as a RAW before they decided to offer the single configuration available today.  So compared to all the other ones here, mine is not
exactly the same as those.

I listened to a bit of the DVDs and the sound is really nice.  I will not be able to listen to them critically until later this week, but I already know I'm happy with the sound.  The sound is glorious on my system.

KM140 DIN (DFC row T) > SD722 (24/96)

Even after the listening tests, you couldn't help yourself could you?  You just had to run a 96 kHz.  ;D

I'm pushing the files out right now and there should be a torrent offer soon.  I don't know how long it takes to set that up.  I'm just offering up 24/96 source.  Not just being lazy but I don't think that down sampling will give a fair evaluation of the 722 and I saw some really nice 16-bit rigs there that will likely be offered.

I'm listening to the recording right now.  I would have liked to be a bit closer, but I was literally 3" off the front of the sbd and dfc, so I got exactly what was mixed.  The room was really good and the mix was good and clear.  I usually like the mix mule uses.

I'm so impressed with the recording this little box made that I might wet myself.  There was no bass in that recording Damon wrote about, but this is mule.  The bass is tight, full and powerful.  The clarity and resolution, especially since my tubes warmed up, is amazing.  I can't recall ever hearing drums sound so good.  The cymbal spashes sound right.  That little splat in holloway's sax is clear.  There is more nuance and detail than I've come to expect from one of my own recordings.  Playing back Grinnin', Warren's voice made the hair on the back of my neck stand up.

In another thread there was a discussion about the greater resolution of the audience sounds and that might detract from the quality of the recording.   No way.   There is certainly pinpoint placement of the audience sounds, but that just enhances the realism IMO.  The PA has always been a little less precise than the ambient sounds when I'm listening at the show.  And that is what I'm hearing on this recording.

I know I posted one time that the extended wait for this box would make delivery anti-climatic.  I was wrong.  Now that I'm hearing it, I'm really impressed and very happy that I didn't change my order to an FR2.

Of course, take this review with a grain of salt.  This is my first 24-bit pull and I have very limited experience with 24-bit sources.  But I have no trouble saying that this is the best sounding recording I've made to date.  I'm feeling like such a taper bad ass right now ;-)
