9v Rechargables -- 7.2 v ???
« on: October 26, 2003, 02:58:42 AM »
Ok, so 9v rechargables are really 7.2v.  I know this isn't a problem for my AD-20, but what about a phantom power rig like the PS-2 or my Rolls PB224?

Should I skip using two rechargables in this, or should I look at two 9.6v adapted to the 9v plugs?

I'm not sure under what specific voltages the PS-2 or PB224 will work, but I know you can get 9v batteries ranging anywhere from 7.2v - 9.6v.  Ahem,  :P, check the archives:

7.2 will work with the PS-2
currently reassembling my rig due to theft by Greyhound Bus Inc employees.
