Hey, has anyone ever used an Audio-technica AE5100 to tape shows?  Looks like a solid mic, but I can't find much info besides:

I plan on mounting a mic to my camera, and I will be close to the stage.  Any recs?

Thought of a couple of other comments.

I didn't like the mic clamps that came with them.  They were kind of big and klunky.  I think they claim some shock absorbtion.  I'd call it minimal at best.

I use them with PMD 660, Advanced Mod.  (not ACM).  If that matters.

I've been staring at these mics too.  The above numbers are off-the-charts!  Great SPL handling, real low noise, huge dynamic range and excellent freq chart.  Sensitivity is OK for an LD, but not quite as good as the AKG 414-XLS (23mv), but better than most.  Still, good enough for small rooms, up close recording, yada yada.  AT claims they are warm sounding in their marketing piece.  If there's any chance I can get a loaner, PM me.   I definitely want to try these puppies out with the Aerco.
