Anyone know of any music file player apps for Windows which can play two seperate Left and Right mono files simultaneously as if they were one interleaved 2-channel stereo file, instead of simply queing up one to play sequentially after the other? Bonus points if it can do the same with more than two mono source files.
Looking for just a lightweight player so I don't need to load DAW or audio editor software simply to play the files in stereo.
PS- I'll be out for about a week, begining tomorrow and will check responses on my return, so appologies if I don't reply immediately.

Don't need any editor functionality, just staight playback, with EQ. Preferably a free player, though I'd pay (not much) for something.

Thanks, that looks interesting for many things, but I'm not a linux guy. Looking for a simple GUI (non-command-line) software player for windows that can do this.
Just remembered about the Sound Devices Wave Agent freeware tool. I've used that to split polyphonic files and join mono files before. If I recall it has playback capability and I can imagine them supporting this functionality. I'll check to see if it can do this and report back.
Please feel free to make additional suggestions if you have them.
