I bought some rechargeable batteries for my dr680 in case I ever have an external power issue. Figured I would do a test so I could know what to expect. I'm trying to do all of these tests because when getting and researching 680s I could find very little battery data, so trying to get out what I can. Anyways these aa batteries are quite nice feel very good,
Equiptment:
Bsc1->Littlebox ->680
Droid razr to 680
On channels: 1+2/3+4
Specs
8 Amazon AA rechargeables
10 second backlight
4 channels
24/48
Total run time 4hrs 50 minutes
Here is a link to the battery, I'm sure ill get picked in for using them, but as long as they work for the few seconds to minutes a battery may fail in, I am happy.

I would HIGHLY recommend a MahaPowerex MHC-9000 Charger! It will break in the batts and maintain their maximum capacity. I wouldnt trade mine for the world 8)
