My old Batterygeek is getting long in the tooth and I desire a dedicated 12v solution for the DR680...Price isn't bad $130 - same as a 58wh Tekkeon but less the multiple voltages and a extra 40wh's of power

That looks pretty good. I just bought a new Naztech PB1500 that can't get more than 2.5 hours with my DR680 running phantom for two channels. Everyone else has had luck with the Naztech but not me so I may grab this instead.

Carl...my 10-14-100 Batterygeek is similar in Watt Hours to this unit...I get 14hrs with one pair of mic's on Phantom and Line in from V2 on a second pair from it...but it's no longer made...

I have one and I like it. I use it with my SD MixPre-D (with a power cable made by DigiGal) and my PMD-661. Never have done more then three sets with it but will try longer shows this summer.

Yeah, this looks like a pretty good replacement for the battery geeks. Love my 10-14-115 and sad to see it's no longer available. 98 Wh is going to last forever and I like the fixed 12v (versus selectable) plus USB options.
The only thing that bothers me about the design of this battery is the on-off switch and its side location. At 8.5" long, it might be hard to run this battery upright in some gear bags and I prefer to have any switches facing up.

Valid point on the size, might be a little too big for my bag. Guess I'll get another Naztech.

I know, that's why I bought one but the first one I ordered came used so I sent it back, the next one won't last longer than 2.5 hours so it's obviously defective. Guess I'll send this one back & try yet another.

Yes definitely. I got mine from amazon, they have good return and replacement policies
