Anyone used these yet? It's a switchable male/female XLR. Looks pretty cool.

These have been around for a few years, and the general consensus from the professional users at forums.prosoundweb.com is meh.
They are useful, but not as durable as your typical Neutrik Connector.
They solve a problem that is simply solved using durable M-M and F-F barrels.

They are also very expensive and very bulky - I feel the same way - neat idea but not really practical
