Title: audacity 2.0.5 can i save a 24 bit project to 24 bit?

hi, i was trying to add alittle bass and take off a very small amount of high end but when i saved the file it said it was going to be in 16bit..is there a way around this? it did say to have more options for saved bit formats to use "other uncompressed files" but it stilled saved it to a 16bitter file..am i trying to to the impossible in audacity? any help would be much appreciated.scott

After selecting "other uncompressed files"

Click the "Options" box - and set your bit depth.

Ok..thanks...i dont recall seeing an option box after the other uncompressed files option..ill try again..if i dont see the other option box perhaps its with a newer version of audacity
