Title: NEED HELP - Kind of a FLAC question
Post by: ThePiedPiper on January 13, 2019, 11:07:20 PM
With the latest Windows Servic ePack release I have somehow lost all the icons for FLAC, SHN, Wav & Ape and they all have identical icons now which is a pain in the ass because I have to check the details to see what format it's in. How do I get these individual  icons back??? Sorry for the crazy question but this is driving me mad.

Windows does that to me too. You'll have to click on Properties and change the default program for each type of file. So once for FLAC, once for MP3, etc. You'll only have to do it once per file type. Shouldn't take too long.

PITA.

Actually that is how you address the program that opens the file, which is easy enough. I'm referring to the actual ICON that designates what type of file it is.  After some digging, I was able to use a program called "FileTypesMan" that changes the icons.

Gotcha. I use Foobar2000 to play all of my audio files. It does a different color for different filetypes. Pretty sure FLAC is orange and MP3 is red, WAV is black.
