???
so last night i was going to run UA-5 > VX Pocket V2. i usually run MP-2 into it. well the V2 wouldn't accept the coax for some reason.
i get this error in SF6 An unknown error occured opening the 'VXpocket In #1' device.
anyone ever seen this?

i get that all the time if i have a loose connection from any of my components. You can also get it if you do not have the correct sample rate and bit depth. i would double check your connection and make sure you have soundforge set correct. That is all i can think of. I have not had any other problems with the vx pocket

ditto what he said. i got that all the time with mine, it was always my fault... usually related to sample rates and bit depths for me

+ T to ya both
what's fucked is no matter what i have to turn sf to 16/44.1 no matter what the ua-5 is set to........
-
vxpocket can't do 24 bit, afaik. could be wrong tho, been a while since I've had one....
nevermind, me dumb
-
Why not just run UA-5 > laptop? Why add the vx pocket into the mix?

ditto that, the ua-5 and vxpocket cant go over 24/48 anyway, well the ua-5 can
theoretically, but it cant, so just run 24/48 over the ua-5 usb
