Title: Audtion/CEP: spectral view in multitrack mode?
Post by: poorlyconditioned on July 03, 2005, 05:11:44 AM
I'm using Audition/CEP to mix AUD and SBD files.

Does anyone know if I can get a "spectral view" in multitrack mode?  I seem to remember doing this before, but I forget how I did it!

What I found is that I can line stuff up roughly in the time domain, then use spectral view to improve it.  Transient events (like a guitar pick) show up very well in the spectral view.

Thanks for any help...

I'm pretty sure you can't use spectral view in multitrack. Here's a slightly clumsy workaround: jump to the edit view, switch to spectral view to find the edit point you want, then mark it with a cue point which you can see when you go back to multitrack. Setting the snapping function under "edit" tab to "snap to cues" will expedite the process.
