Title: Wavelab 5 DVD Audio Authoring
Post by: phanophish on January 31, 2006, 07:52:30 PM
So, I'm trying to track out a 24/69 show for burning to DVD-A

I have a couple of 24/96 wav files one is 2GB and the other is the remainder of the set at about 800MB, basically the files a R-4 generates automatically when hitting the 2GB limit.  I combine the 2 wav files in to a Montage in WL5.  The both play back fine and seamlessly in the montage view and all seems well.  I then add all the DVD track markers and so on.  Again all seems well.  I even check the DVD-A with the little eyeglass icon.  Then I tell WL to render out the DVD files which it starts doing.  Once I get to what I'm guessing is the point at which the second wav file need to be accessed, the whole thing craps out and locks.  I can go to the directory where WL was outputting the files and there is a AUDIO_TS directory with 3 .AOB files.  2 are 1GB each and the third is about 25 Megs.  I end up having to kill off WL5 and try again.  Now that it is happening with more than one group of wav files I figure there is a bug with WL or I am doing something wrong.  Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks

Brian
