Title: can't load 24 bit file into soundforge 8 or 9
Post by: panther65 on November 24, 2007, 11:14:16 AM
I can't seem to load a 24 bit file into soundforge 8 or 9. 9 is a demo but 8 is a full version. 16 bit is no problem. Does anyone have a suggestion?

Actually, some 24 bit files can be opened, but others can't. The 1.9gb 24 bit master files can't seem to be opened, when 24 bit files that have been joined together to form say a 1.5 gb file can be opened.

It might be the size, I believe SF can only handle 2GB maybe you are right at it's limit? Can you cut it in half and see if it can open the pieces?
