« on: December 21, 2003, 07:55:28 AM »
ok guyz, this may sound a lil weird but, everytime i surf a group of pages, say a porn site ::), and i go into the members area, my mouse all of a sudden wont let me link to the group of pages would like to visit, i can link at any of the other pages on their site previously, but it will let me into the members area, then once i choose where to go, nothing, the mouse wont take me to the link i click......thanks guyz  :o

I'm asuming that there is code written into the HTML to disallow direct links. They are trying to force you to look through the other pages that reference so that the most pop pages can be seen by you. The porn internet industry is driven by click thoughs and site links. The more people who click through the more money is apt to be made. A guy who works with my company right now worked for a few years in the Internet Porn Industry and explained alot abput that side of the net. (although he didn't put that job on his resume 8) ;D

not sure i fully understand the problem bean, but the porn causing you to go blind and not actually clicking on the link itself comes to mind ;)

but seriously, there's a couple troubleshooting steps i would recommend when things start going weird with your browser...
in internet explorer (if htat's what you're using) go to tools > internet options > general tab > delete files (under temp internet files) and se if that helps.

also, sometimes a membership-required site wont work when youre logged in if youre also logged into another site at the same time.  ive had to log out of ts to get other sites to work
even though you got it to work, i figured it might help other people

:shocking: b
