Adobe Audition & Apogee Mini Me.....

having trouble with this set up...installed the apogee drivers....audition recognizes the mini me, but then it wont record, or even play back files while selecting the mini me as playback device, etc....

any advice out there?  not a fan (it crashes every time when trying to record more that 1 mono track) of audacity...
