So.....from All Good....SOJAs late night set occurred at the same time as the festie fireworks. I'd like to figure out an easier method for removing these little spikes in SF9.0. What I have been doing is simply zooming in and using the pencil tool to re-draw a more desirable form. Is there a more efficient sweep type method that won't drastically affect the rest of the recording? Here is what the spikes look like.

These do look like typical recording pops caused by gear issues....but these are in fact the firework pops..which last for about 10 minutes.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

A parametric equalizer will take out everything in any chosen frequency band.  This is the easiest path forward I can think of.

Ok. How would I go about setting up the setting for this type of EQ pass?
