STH-100 measurements?

I'm fascinated by this mount, and the more I think about it, the more I'm tempted to either buy one and modify it, or just build one. I have a couple of questions:

Do the clips hold TA3 connections also, or just the LC3 cable connectors? (I've never seen one up close in daylight before so I don't know).

Second, how do the clips attach to the stock mount?

Anyone have any detailed pictures they could share?
