Reaper question. How to split WAV and export tracks?
« on: July 28, 2009, 10:10:50 AM »
This is probably a stupid question. I can't figure it out real quickly though. The ways I see want to bounce the files back to a single long WAV. There must be a way to split tracks up in Reaper. What is the work flow? Oh by the way PPC Mac OS version of Reaper.

Bump.

Right now I...
- record in Reaper
- set song breaks in Reaper with markers
- render down each set to a single 44.1/16 wav file
- load the wav into Nero, which recognizes the Nero break markers in the wav file
- properties > split into tracks at the Reaper breaks
- set zero pause between tracks
- burn the CD

However this doesn't work for creating tracked out flac archives.  CD Wave Editor does this nicely, but I have to re-do all the track breaks points.  I'd like to make these separate flac song tracks right out of Reaper, but AFAIK there's no way to do this.

Unless someone else knows how...  ?
