Body worn wireless systems comonly use them. Some have a loose treaded female ferrule outside the male TRS plug that screws onto the threaded outer portion of the input jack.

Mine simply lock with gaffer tape.  ;)

Yes, there are.  I use them all the time for repairing mic capsules... (trust me, when you are spending over £400 on Sennheiser HSP2 headset mics, you have the time and patience to repair them!)

These (http://cpc.farnell.com/_/av17501/3-5mm-locking-stereo-jack-plug/dp/AV17501) lock nicely into the Sennheiser belt pack transmitters, just as well as genuine Sennheiser ones, in fact.  At just £1.87 each from CPC, they are a bargain, I think!

What are you planning on using them for?

those look excellent- the ones I know of are manufactured by Calrad- male and female cable-end threaded connectors
