Author Topic: Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 for mac trial version? (Read 5403 times)

I am working with another group at a university on a project requiring video editing. They are using Premiere Pro CS4 and I have Final Cut. For whatever reason, they are telling me that what we want to do can't be done with the most recent version CS5. Unfortunately, Adobe no longer offers CS4 for trial or sale. It is available on Amazon for $300, but I'd rather not buy that for work that will take me less than a week to complete. Does anyone know of a legitimate site that still has a trial version of CS4?

Maybe ebay? What are they saying cant be accomplished? What task will you be required for?Use the AAF advanced authoring format to bounce work between final cut and premiere thats what its for.

basically i need to combine powerpoint slides that have quicktime movie files within them and then animate the text on the slides, add cartoon overlays to the movies and record a voice audiotrack. Then I take the finished project and export it to a flash flv. its an instructional surgical course to be taken online.

oh and the project files that i have as templates can't be opened in cs5 for some reason. and cs4 on ebay is at least $300 which is what it is on amazon.
