Quick V3 Settings Question.
« on: May 24, 2011, 11:31:45 AM »
Hey folks,
Hzgone was nice enough to lend me his V3 for this upcoming weekend. After giving it a look over everything seems pretty straight forward, except. Is there a togle switch/button to change between 16 bit and 24 bit for the Spdif output(Like on the UA-5)? I see the  button thats changes bit feq. from 44.1k up to 192k. Does this button also switch between 16bit and 24bit? Any clarification  is greatly appreciated!

The ANSR button changes the SPDIF out from 24-bit to 16-bit.

Hey Thanks!
How does it indicate whether 16 or 24 bit is selected?

If the ANSR button is engaged and the light is ON, then a 16-bit signal is being sent.  If the light is OFF, you're getting a 24-bit signal.

Think of SR as "Signal Reduction".
