Topic: I need a small Battery box for my SP-CMC-8 mics super fast!!!

Hello friends

My SP-SPSB-8(no bass roll off) battery box went out at the scorpions show a few days ago and need one super fast for my next concert next week for a def leppard concert!!Is this possible?And need help finding a great small box for stealth recordings.Ive gone through 3 already in 4 years of recording:-( I have a Edirol R-09HR recorder with SP-CMC-8 mics I need something that will work with these!!

That seems like a high rate of burn. Are you recording in mosh pits or something? Anyway, I've got one I no longer if you want to make me an offer feel free to PM me.

Why don't you get one of the sound professionals boxes like the SPSB-10 or SPSB-8, and have them use overnight shipping?  That should be the fastest turnaround, unless someone here can help out.

SP fixed my bb with a superfast turnaround, great service.


 Chris Church will build you a sturdy BB but it takes him a long time.

Not sure whats going on but they keep going out on me:-(I just got one a few months ago as well and recorded 1 show and now when I plug it in and test it you hear static:-(

I did go with the sound professionals option and got that SPSB-10 with 2 day shipping and It said I'll get it the day of the show.Im hoping everything goes well getting it right before the show!!It crazy that there is not many opions when you get the battery boxes only 3 places I know of to get them.

I LOVED my old SP BB. It took 1 9v battery and sounded clean and pure. I wish I wouldve kept that puppy I also used and owned an old CA 9100 and loved thast too, but for the majority of my recordings, a BB is all that was needed
