Topic: Getting a torrent ready/started?

since i finally have cable i have a couple shows that have been converted to CD already that i'd like to host... the first 2 namely are matrix sbds of Something Corporate circa late 2001 - one show being an open mic night at KU in Lawrence.

anyway, how do you host a torrent or get everything ready to do it?

I found the bt.etree.org upload directions pretty helpful.

BT.Etree.org is definitely my favorite tracker, though I use STG for taping unfriendly bands sometimes.

FWIW, I use MakeTorrent 2.0 to build my torrents and ABC to seed and d/l.

Apparently, ABC has a torrent maker utility in it as well, but I got in the habit of using MakeTorrent 2.0 before I realized it.

cool.. i had permission from the band at that time, in exchange for a few train shows.. hoping to pull the same thing on wednesday.

i also use maketorrent to make my torrents real easy to use
