Where should I buy RC batteries?
« on: February 03, 2005, 03:15:36 PM »
So it's about time to replace the RC battery I've been using (Sharp AD-N55BT) and I'd rather not spend $50 to get another from Sharp.  Found a few good deals online, but as they are significantly cheaper I'm wondering about the quality.  Anyone know of a reputable source for replacements?  Any sources I should avoid?

Some places I've looked:
http://www.teamdigital.net
http://bluetin.com
http://www.minidiscaccess.com
http://batteryspecialists.com
http://www.smallbattery.company.org.uk

Any input is appreciated.  Sorry if this has been asked before, I looked but didn't see any similar threads.

MT-180

I went ahead and ordered from that teamdigital site.  $14 for two batteries.  So even if they suck I'm not out too much money.

Can someone explain this racket to me?

Thanks.

now thats a bargain
Governor Jim McGreevey was equally disturbed about the upcoming population increase. "New Jersey cannot support all of these wookies," he said. "For starters, we don't have nearly enough kindbud. At best, we can muster up a Q.P. of some beasties, but we've not a dime-bag more."

The only bad point for myself is that they only take overseas order from $50, but that's not an issue if your in the US. I've seen the deal first at minidisc.org , and so far no one has complained (delivery is fast). And at this price, there's not much to loose.

Just a follow-up note if anyone cares.  The batteries from http://www.teamdigital.net aren't worth a shit.  They're only good for taping 3, maybe 4 hours.
