Anyone know of a way to take a stereo wav file (left and right, obviously) and split the left and right into two seperate mono tracks? I recorded guitar on Left channel and Vox on the right....now I need to split the wav file up so I'm looking at two different files.

Not positive how to split the stereo WAV into two mono WAVs, but...the WAV editor allows manipulation of individual L/R channels in a stereo WAV.  Take a step back - Why do you need to split the stereo WAV into individual mono tracks?  What exactly are you trying to accomplish?

put your mouse up near the top of the upper wave file until it displays 'L'
double click to select the whole file
go edit, copy to new
rinse and repeat

I'm still (genuinely!) curious what you're trying to accomplish that requires splitting stereo to mono.

Take a step back - Why do you need to split the stereo WAV into individual mono tracks? What exactly are you trying to accomplish?

Bri - looks like he was home recording 2 mono tracks (guitar + vocals) using the left and right.  Now he wants to mix them (maybe using different eq and levels).
