you dont have to spend a ton for 20hz.
you just need to know what to look for...from 5-10 years ago.

i've listened to the 2ce signitures a lot..and i'll take the vr2 over those any day

same here...but 2CEs can be had for $600 or so. They definitely need a big room and lotsa power to sound decent. But I've heard them sing nicely when conditions are right. At least they aren't bright. YMMV

Wish I could set you up with some Eggle's ;D
I found this on audiogon for Dynaudio Audience 8
http://cls.audiogon.com/cgi-bin/cls.pl?spkrfull&1132897613
I would guess these go down to the 30-40Hz range, I personally have never heard them, but we
do use Dynaudio Esostar tweeters for all our egglestonworks speakers, and Dynaudio woofers.
I do believe Dynaudio USA uses different drivers than we do, but I'm sure they are still quality.
Maybe someone can elaborate more on Dynaudio Sound.

Oh yea, Trey, nice tennis pictures in the VIP Jackson mag ;D

I ended up with these dynaudios, thanks for everyone's help

save up a few hundred more, and get the VR2s.
they go down to 25hz.  Plenty of low end.  a very dynamic speaker.

and look at this even!  what timing.

Those are Mic D's (Kevin Durant). I've heard them and they sound great.

Let me know, Trey...

I like those Dynaudio's, I always wanted to try a pair. I have read good things about them, I am sure you will like them. If not you can always sell them & try something else.
I know you like, tape for people's approval and stuff, and wave your tapes around like they're your dick...  but even you can't actually think section tapes from philips sound good.
