Looks like they allow fully functional trial runs with the software.  Good for 7 burns.  Hmmm, I'm going to have to give it a test run over the next couple weeks.

$34.99 to buy it. Not to bad, if it works. I might have to pick up a copy if M-Audio can make the MT record 24bit via SPDIF.

I tried it out tonight with a Cowboy Junkies show recorded at 24/96. Pretty intuitive interface, but have two problems.

1) each track has a gap of 2 seconds, and I can't see anyway to get rid of it.

2) You need to add a still photo to each track. However, the disk I burned didn't seem to have any photos.

I have an email in to the company asking about this. Has anyone used Wavelab 5 to burn DVD-A? Is it worth the upgrade from 4? Can you do gapless tracks like with DiskWelder, and can you add video to each track?

Cheers
Candace

I got an email back from the company today. They were quick, I'll give them that. However, there is no way to get rid of the 2 second pause between tracks. They say they will look at it in future editions.

you have to use v5. v4 does NOT author dvd-a.
