Audiogon Bluebook help please....
« on: December 01, 2005, 07:10:02 PM »
Howdy all!
A buddy of mine is trying to sell me what is supposedly an out of this world phono pre,  a Magnum Dynalab made, OCM branded model 10.  I can't find jack about this unit online, but Audiogon lists the piece in it's bluebook.  I'd rather not shell out $20 just to get retail and bluebook value on this one piece, so I figured that it would be worth asking around here, if someone happens to already subscribe to this service.  I'd be willing to trade a show or two for the help.  The guy claims that it was worth around $3000 in it's day but I would really like to avoid over paying if he is inflating the original value.  Any help is appreciated...

Already got an answer on another forum, so no need to waste your time...  It's worth way less than he said it was...
