Or you can make your own.  Here's the connector you need for the MP2:

Then just build an SLA or RCA battery pack and you're golden:

Although isn't the MP2 easily run off rechargable AAs?

Thanks,

I should have been more specific.  I was looking for the power plug part #

And just so you all know, Sonic Sense does the NiMH mod for FREE now... you just cover shiping to them and they send it UPS-GND Back to you.

I put mine in the UPS today for them (with them being close to home here in WI, it should be back by Monday!)

Rechargables batteries are a slightly different size than alkalines.  The MP2 - and I think this applies to models built before a certain date, but am not positive - will not run on rechargable batteries without a minor mod to the internal battery holder.

actually... the switchcraft part is s760k not 760k.  the 760k works but the connection is tighter w/ the s760k.  i made my own power cables for the mp2 and adc-20, it is pretty easy and a good way to save a couple bucks.

also as a side note i built a stealth battery pack using rc batteries which also worked well.  i've never tried it w/ internal nimh rechargeables but i'd venture that a couple 2000 mAh batteries would work nicely as well.

Sound Devices will do it for free too. Plus they will give your MP2 a quick once over to check if everything is ok. Nothing against Sonic Sense, but I would much rather send it to the actual manufacture

yep - sound devices will do it for free and give it an inspection.  in the course of that inspection they will tell you you need to replace the gain potentiometers.   ;D
