fmr audio really nice pre

So I have been thinking about buying one to run in front of the mini-me.  Calpot issue aside, has anyone ever heard one?  They have a REALLY good rep in the audio indiustry.  I was thinking about asking to demo one, maybe I should ask huh!

I've only heard the RNC (really nice compressor) and I was very impressed with the results...let us know how it sounds!!!

Maybe I will just bite the bullet and try it.  They go for the same used as they do new almost, so why not!

Is it DC?  Or do you have access to power?  Might be a problem if you don't . . .

I remember reading somewhere that someone contacted the manufacturer and they replied that it can be powered by AC or DC. I'll try to dig up the link...
