Repairing LiIon used in SD 7xx's
« on: July 19, 2007, 12:22:06 AM »
I got a cheapo NP-F970 from 1800??? and the cap with the two tube terminals which slide onto the pins in the SD pulled off.  When it did it broke the connectors between the cap and the cells inside.  Has anyone ever had luck with re-attaching these two pieces?  How is it done?

Thanks.

Cheers

You probably want to buy a new battery.  I have been using the knock off Synergy versions, which come with a 3 year warranty, and so far, [knockin] wood[/knocking] they have held together, and hold a good charge.
