Hi guys,
I've got some decent monitors, a nice computer, Sound Forge 8, and Sonar 4. It's all set up in a small, narrow bedroom. I get a boomy bass sound that makes it difficult to get a good, accurate mix. I'd like to tame it as inexpensively as possible. It is my understanding that taming bass is the most difficult--if I just put up 2" foam, I'm mostly deadening everything BUT the bass. I've read that high density fiberglass is the ticket. Do you think I could buy some high density fiberglass batting, sew some fabric around it, and use that?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
