Title: power from MD?

My wife has a couple of AT 831b's, and I'm thinking of stealthing with them. Can my Sony MD provide enough juice to phantom power them?

You will need a batt box to provide phantom power.  Mic in on a Sony MD isn't the greatest idea in the world.
