I definitely hear it. More on the vocals than the guitar for some reason 
It almost reminds me of shitty encoding artifacts.
Can you use Jon G's r-09 and yours next time?

unfortunately no. he lives in chicago, i in michigan
im sure he would be willing to upload a sample of something hes recorded though, but it wouldnt be something i have a recording of also to compare

i did buy this edirol used off ebay, so i dont have a warranty on it or anything. are we thinking there is something wrong with the recorder itself or is it something im doing (settings or otherwise)?
